Aramid panels are designed to meet the following specifications:

• Able to cut easily (can be cut by a jig saw with a knife blade)

Automotive Armors Aramid panels are created from a liquid chemical blend being spun into a solid fiber. This process creates a high quality synthetic fiber which properties include:
• High strength, and low density
• Excellent energy absorption
• Resistant to abrasion and thermo degradation

Aramid is better known by its trade names such as Kevlar® (Dupont) and Twaron® (Tejin Twaron).
