A.A.M's Polyethylene HT (HT UHMWPE) High Tenacity Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene Ballistic Armor panels are created from spinning process in which the fibers are drawn, heated, elongated, and cooled. This leads to molecular alignment, high crystallization, and low density. Fibers have long molecular chains that transfer load more effectively to the polymer backbone.
